Who we are

Right Choice Builders Group Ltd, trading as Stock & Slate Developments (registered in England and Wales, company number 14445804, registered office 7 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR) is responsible for your personal details (the data controller). For any privacy question, email info@stockandslate.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use the form on our contact page we collect:

• your name, phone number and email address
• the postcode of the property
• the type of work and how you would like us to contact you
• your message and any drawings or photos you attach

If you call, email or message us, we keep what you tell us so we can reply.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation and prepare a proposal. This is a step you ask us to take before a contract, which is our lawful basis under UK GDPR.
• If you become a customer, to carry out the work and keep the records the law requires.

We do not sell your details, and we do not send marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We use these services to run the website and receive enquiries. They act on our instructions only:

• Cloudflare: hosts the website
• Resend: delivers enquiry emails to us
• Zoho Mail: holds our email, including enquiries

Zoho Mail keeps our email in the European Union, which UK law treats as giving adequate protection. Resend is based in the United States. Its data processing terms protect transfers from the UK through the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If no work goes ahead, we keep your enquiry for 6 months and then delete it. If you become a client, we keep your details for 1 year after the work is finished. We keep invoices and accounting records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, object to how we use them or ask us to limit it. Email info@stockandslate.co.uk and we will reply within one month, as the law requires.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
